Fender 1960 Stratocaster

This is a Beautiful 1960 Strat with a Fender Factory Refin, circa 1965. Slab Rosewood Fingerboard over a Very Rare, Highly Figured Birds Eye Maple Neck. Pots (Vol/Tone/Tone) date to the 48th, 45th, and 48th week of 1959. Black Bottom Pickups and All Solder is Original and Untouched. All Original Parts. The Body has a Stamp under the Pick Guard and in the Neck PU cavity that both read..."1114 SB". There's a "#1" penciled in the Middle PU Cavity. Our guess is that in around 1965, the owner wanted his "old" guitar to look brand new, and sent it to Fender® where they Refin-ed and Decal-ed it to look brand new for 1965. Original Brown Case, Ashtray and Whammy Bar are Included. This is a Clean...Rare...Bitchin'...Slab Board!
