The finish is a beautiful tobacco sunburst.
The finish on this 68 year old guitar has beautiful checking both on the front and back.
The top, back, and sides are flame maple.
The neck is flame maple with a center stripe of 5 strips of rosewood and mahogany glued together.
It sports 3 single coil gold pickups with plastic surrounds that are changing color with age.
It has a height-adjustable rosewood bridge with a gold Frequensator tailpiece.
The pickup selector is made up of 7 push buttons that create a variety of pickup combinations.
The gold tuners are in excellent condition.
The binding around the body has started to shrink.
We've taken detailed pictures of the binding shrinkage.
There are a few small dings in the finish on the back.
The original pick guard has been removed and is being stored separately. It is included in the purchase of this guitar however.
This guitar appears to be 100% original. The included deluxe hardshell case is a somewhat new-ish acquisition to protect the guitar.
